We were blessed with another good afternoon at the beach. It rained a bit off and on in the morning, but the sun came out this afternoon. So we drove up to Garibaldi to eat lunch at Pirate's Cove (fantastic!), then made our way back to Tillamook with stops at the tunafish cannery and the Tillamook County Smoker. We went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory and sampled some cheese and ate ice cream. After that, we took the scenic drive back to Lincoln City.
It was sunny with no rain in sight, so we took the kids back down to the beach. B and Cara were getting as close to the water as they could. Cara looks a little nervous...
She didn't want to get too much closer...
Here come the waves!
The waves almost got Mom! That was pretty funny!
So the two kiddos moved on to sandcastle building.
Cara pleading with Dad to come help. Apparently because he is an engineer it makes him a sandcastle building expert. ;)
One last pic before we went back to the trailer to watch the Country Music Awards:
A was gone today. She went back home with Grandma and Grandpa since she has class tomorrow. :(
Tomorrow morning we're off to the zoo! Cara hasn't been since we were in China and she is SO EXCITED!
