Cara's Spring Fashion Show {Sunday Snapshot}

The boys went to the state wrestling tournament in Tacoma this weekend, so we went on a spring shopping trip.  Cara is 6 1/2 years old, weighs 45 lbs, and is 46 inches tall.

This dress is from Gap outlet.  It's a small, 6/7.

When we went into Justice, and Cara immediately pointed to this shirt way up high on the wall.  She asked the sales girl to get it down for her to try on.  The shirt is a 7.  The capris I got her at Costco last year.

This shirt is from Children's Place.  It was only $5.  I got her a medium, 7/8 so the shirt will last two years since she will only wear it for St. Patrick's Day and at the livestock show.

A saw this shirt at Gap and got it for Cara.  It says, "Here Comes The Sun" in sequins.  It's a small, 6/7.

A picked this outfit out for Cara at Justice.  The shirt is a 7 and the capris are a 6.

Cara's yellow jeans from last year are too small now, so I got her a new pair of yellow jeans at Gap, size 6.  The shirt says, "Feeling Awesome Today" in yellow and its a small, size 6/7.

That's all for now!  Thanks for looking. :)

  3. Just wanted to tell you I spent several hours reading your entire blog. It was awe inspiring to read your story of the adaption of the orphan from Shanghai to Canton, to Seattle. It is amazing how Cara has changed from when you picked her up from the orphanage to present day 2014. You must be commended for taking care and raising her to be such a good child. Actually, you are indeed such a good parent as well as your husband I am quite sure. Your other children A and Bryan are such smart children. Your older daughter to have an Associate college degree and graduate high school at the same time ... wow ... so unbelievable. And your son is not only smart, but so good at sports like wrestling and football. And from your blog I could see both A and Bryan are such excellent older sister and brother towards Cara. I think Cara is extremely lucky to have you and your family. I also definitely agree that by adapting Cara into your family everyone in your family learns from Cara as well for sure. Good luck with Cara. I wish I was adapted into your family and to be growing up in a small town. Sure beats living in a large city like New York City my whole life. Take care.
