Today was the 52nd Annual Sukiyaki dinner at the Buddist temple in Wapato. We went last year and had a great meal, so we were excited to go again this year. The dinner consists of a cucumber salad, and a plate of yam noodles, onions, bamboo shoots, rice, and prime rib. It's soooooo good! They serve over 1800 meals at this dinner every year and have over 120 volunteers working to make the dinner a success.
Here is Cara all ready to leave:
Dad and brother photobombing! ;)
Cara posed with the Wapato royalty before we went in to eat.
Love the decorations! The theme this year was "Girl Day."
All of us together waiting for our meal.
I thought the dinner this year was even better that the one last year, and I didn't think that was possible! Looking forward to next year already.
